The Idea
Verizon’s promise of connectivity means more than strong signal; it means being reachable when it matters most.
We took Verizon’s iconic line “Can you hear me now?” and turned it into a promise: Yes, we can hear you. A platform built to ensure every request for help is acknowledged, protected, and acted on immediately.

Verizon
Yes, we can hear you.
Yes, We Can Hear You reimagines Verizon’s role in moments when being heard is a matter of safety. By using Verizon’s secure network and services, the platform gives domestic abuse victims a discreet way to reach help instantly, ensuring no call for help goes unheard.
The U.S. National Domestic Abuse Helpline can take up to 15 minutes to answer, time victims often don’t have. When asking for help isn’t immediate or safe, calls for help can go unheard.

A discreet decoy interface keeps the app looking ordinary at all times. A hidden red logo in the top corner gives users instant access to help; and instantly returns to the fake home screen if safety is compromised.
The Decoy Home Screen
A Verizon-powered emergency line bypasses long hotline wait times. Using voice activation, users can discreetly ask for help by saying, “Hey Siri, can you hear me now?”, triggering immediate, secure assistance.

Verizon Emergency Hotline

A hidden SOS function allows users to send emergency alerts with a simple long-press on the app icon. Messages are sent instantly to authorities or trusted contacts, leaving no visible trace on the device.
SOS Shortcut

The hidden red logo redirects to a dedicated, secure help page connects users directly to domestic abuse hotlines, resources, and support services.
Everything is one tap away, designed for fast access without drawing attention.
